I wanted to collect the Youtube channels that have videos about the topics related to Deep Learning and Computer Vision in such a list in order to make them more accessible. Some of the videos cover the basics and some of them give more technical details.
I will add more channels to this blog post when I discover new ones with high quality videos.
The channels are listed below:
1. Two Minute Papers
I have discovered Two Minute Papers this summer during my internship. It is an amazing source to have general knowledge about a research paper. This video series basically gives a quick wrap up about the papers, and they have a lot of videos explaining papers in the field of Deep Learning and Computer Vision. They also have a subreddit called r/TwoMinutePapers where people can share their thoughts about the video series.
How to tell when the technological singularity has happened: Two Minute Papers can no longer keep up with new papers. byu/devi83 intwominutepapers
2. DeepLearning.TV
DeepLearning.TV is a great resource for the ones who want to have more knowledge about Deep Learning without diving into the math and code part of it. If you feel overwhelmed by the overly-technical explanations about this field, these course series may be a good start.
3. Crash Course
As you can guess from the name, Crash Course is a YouTube channel which consists of different kinds of series which cover important topics related to several fields in an intense manner. These topics include but not limited to sociology, computer science and statistics. The Computer Science series also have videos about Computer Vision and Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence.
4. 3Blue1Brown
3Blue1Brown is a YouTube channel by Grant Sanderson. He aims to explain the concepts by the help of the animations and to simplify the difficult problems with changes in perspective. This channel also has a video series for Neural Networks.
5. CS231n
CS231n is a course thaught in the Stanford University which is a deep dive into details of the deep learning architectures with a focus on learning end-to-end models for these tasks, particularly image classification. By the help of this course, you will learn to implement, train and debug your own neural network and gain a detailed understanding of cutting-edge research in computer vision.
6. DeepLearning.ai
This is the official YouTube channel of deeplearning.ai. In this channel, you can find a lot of videos related to the technical concepts in Deep Learning that are taught by Andrew Ng. Also, you can find a series of videos named Heroes of Deep Learning where you can learn more about the people who participate in cutting-edge research in this field.
That’s all for now. I hope you enjoyed this blog post!
